Sunny start but rain on the way later – Met Éireann

Today will start out dry with sunny spells in Ulster, according to Met Éireann. 

It will become cloudy with light rain or drizzle along the west coast during the afternoon, becoming widespread and persistent later. Highest temperatures of 17 or 18 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, southerly breezes.

There will be widespread rain tonight and it will be heavy at times, clearing to showers by morning. Lowest temperatures 11 to 13 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.
