Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of Mulroy College in Milford came together to celebrate and acknowledge their success in various areas of school life, from academic awards to appreciation.
The guest speaker was former Donegal GAA star Brendan Devenney who spoke to pupils about the importance of being your own person and finding that thing that gives you joy in life.
He talked about the importance of being positive and how a great place to be is just leaning on the positive side of neutral.
He talked about the importance of contentment and how success does not always mean you have to be the very best at everything.
Brendan spoke from the heart and shared his understanding of carrying loss and grief in life and how it is important to live life well and positivity in memory of those who have passed.
The Transition year event celebrated the incredible diversity of opportunity afforded to all students who completed the transition year programme in Mulroy College.
Students completed various mental health programmes, leadership programmes, enterprise courses, first aid courses, cross curricular programmes and various others to develop their skills and learning both academic and personal.
Principal Ms Fiona Temple stated how proud she was of each and every one of the students and gave great praise to all of those who supported them through their journey and development this year.
In particular she gave great praise and acknowledgement to the very dedicated and committed staff of Mulroy College and to the generous support and encouragement given from parents and guardians.
