A man with impeccable Donegal connections is blowing away the competition on Channel 4’s Countdown quiz show.
Ronan Higginston has won his first three games on the show having beaten champion Jonathan Seal.
He returns to television screens on Monday where he will face another contestant.
And while Higginston may not exactly sound like a strong Donegal name, the tie to the county couldn’t be stronger!
Ronan is the son of proud Glenties (Stracastle to be exact) woman Patricia McMonagle.
She now lives in Ramsgate in Kent with her family.
Viewers can watch this born-again Donegal man battle it out on Countdown again next Monday.
