The huge cruise liner, the Mein Schiff 3, has pulled into port in Killybegs.

The liner, with 2,700 passengers and a further 1,000 staff, will spend the day docked in the Donegal port.

It will leave at approximately 7pm this evening.

Many of the passengers are expected to disembark and will visit the shops and cafes in Killybegs.

The Mein Schiff 3 is a cruise ship owned by TUI Cruises and measures 293 metres in length.

It was built at the STX Finland Turku Shipyard on 22 May 2014.

The liner is the latest to cruise into Killybegs this summer with many more due in port.
