Located at Upper Main Street, O’Hehirs Bakery & Cafe celebrates 25 years in Letterkenny this year.

It really is an astounding achievement that has seen the people of Letterkenny and beyond served with the finest baked goods and fresh foods over the years. From the start as The Letterkenny Bakehouse genuine quality bakery produce has been on offer.

Nowadays, the busy bakery business is more than suitably complimented by barista style coffee and mouthwatering food options that can be consumed in the comfort of a 40 seat restaurant.

There is an extensive breakfast and hot lunch menu, from the traditional breakfast to tasty chicken curry or quiche. The only thing that makes the food taste even better is to compliment it with barista style fair-trade sourced coffee that is roasted in Ireland and specially selected by the inhouse coffee expert.

All food and drinks are also available for take away and you can pre-order on 074 9122072 anytime.

An impressive new signature sandwich menu, designed by the head chef, has recently been added. The range is freshly made using inhouse baked breads each day. The menu is a must try and has something for everyone!

The business is operated by the famous O’Hehirs Family, who are baking since 1984. At their craft bakery in Sligo, they produce the most deliciously nutritious breads and indulgent confectionary that is supplied fresh every morning to Letterkenny. All the much loved traditional breads are available along with some more contemporary breads and of course the local favourite. The treats and confectionary ranges available are a feast for the eyes and taste exceptional too, from fresh brownies, donuts and apple pie to amazing fresh gateaux – the range available has something for everyone including gluten free options. The Family Recipe Apple Tart is unquestionably the best apple tart around!

The Letterkenny Bakery and Cafe is ably managed by Don Rowan and employs a very capable team of 10 staff. Don and the team pride themselves in providing the very best in customer service each day: “We are delighted to be part of the success story of O’Hehirs Bakery & Cafe here in Letterkenny, we are passionate about delivering the very best quality food and service to our customers and would like to thank our many loyal customers who we see so regularly – it’s so rewarding to see them come back to us.”

Visit O’Hehirs Letterkenny today to see for yourself all the delicious goodness that awaits!
