Is it a bird… is it a plane?
A resident of West Donegal was left bewildered when they spotted a mysterious object in the sky over Bunbeg, Gweedore last night.
At 22:22pm, as the sun set on another beautiful sunny day, a strange object was seen moving through the sky.
Photos taken by a witness show a bright light that appeared to be constant and without any visible contrail.

The witness, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that there was no noise coming from the object, which moved slowly across the sky.
“I doubt if it was a shooting star or fireball as in one of the pictures the outline is quite defined,” the witness said.
The sighting has sparked speculation about the nature of the light, however no other reports of the sighting have been sent in.
