Met Eireann has issued a ‘moderate’ thunderstorm warning for Donegal today.
The alert states there’s a risk of localised slow-moving showers with heavy downpours, thunderstorms and the chance of hail.
Possible impacts include localised spot flooding and difficult driving conditions.
The warning will be in place from 12 noon until 9pm tonight and also affects Cavan, Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Connacht, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
