Thieves broke into a shed in Tooban, Burnfoot and stole an electric scooter.

The incident took place on Tuesday the 27th of June between the hours of 10am and 7pm approx.

A Velocifero electric scooter was stolen from an unlocked shed at a property in that area between those times.

The scooter in question is black in colour with the word ‘Velocifero’ and a small Italian flag on the body of it.

Gardai say this particular type of scooter is very distinctive.

“It has a seat and handle bars which can be removed to convert it into a skate board. It has very large wheels,” said a spokesperson.

If anybody has any information in relation to the current location of this scooter or any other relevant information, Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111 would like tpo hear form them.
