Young man injured after being hit by car in Carndonagh

A young man was hospitalised after being hit by a vehicle in Carndonagh at the weekend.

The incident occurred at 4.15am in the early hours of Sunday morning near Tul Na Rí.

The pedestrian, a male in his 20s, was transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital. His injury was described as non-life-threatening.

Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are continuing.
