Another car stolen and burned out in Letterkenny

Gardai are investigating the theft of a car which was later found burned out in Letterkenny.

The white Toyota Corolla estate registration number ‘142 D 28573’ was taken from a business premises on the Pearse Road in Letterkenny between 6pm on Friday the 21st of July and when it was located at 4.25am on Sunday July 23rd.

It was located on the Crieve Road at Oldtown on fire and was totally destroyed.

It is the latest in a spate of cars which have been stolen and burned out in Letterkenny in recent weeks.

A Garda spokesperson said “If anybody remembers seeing this car being driven between these dates or if they have any relevant information in relation to the theft of it or the destruction of it we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
