The Cabinet has this morning approved the Emergency Humanitarian Flood Scheme to aid eligible businesses impacted by the recent flooding in east Donegal.
This scheme provides an emergency humanitarian support contribution towards the costs of returning business premises to their pre-flooding condition including the replacement of flooring, fixtures, fittings, and damaged stock.
The scheme, which will be administered by the Irish Red Cross, will be live on their website at https://www.redcross.ie/flood-support-scheme/ from later today.
