The school of tragic Milford teenager Connor McGinley has paid a heartfelt tribute to him following his tragic death.

The 19-year-old was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning last following a single vehicle road crash outside Kerrykeel.

He is the third person to die on Donegal’s roads this year.

Connor will be buried following his funeral mass this Thursday.

A spokesperson for Mulroy College said they are deeply saddened on the sudden and tragic loss of its former pupil Connor McGinley.

The Board of Management, staff, parents and students extended their deepest condolences to Connor’s parents Noelle and Ennis, Connor’s brother Dennis and the extended McGinley family.

Principal Ms Fiona Temple said “We are all in deep shock and sadness on hearing of the terrible loss of our former student Connor.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Connor’s family and all of Connor’s friends at this very sad and difficult time. A young life taken much too quickly.

“I extend my deepest condolences to all of the McGinley family and to all of Connor’s friends at this time. May he rest in peace.”
