Finn Harps have today reached out to any local Manchester United supporters who had bought tickets for today’s friendly match in the Aviva Stadium between the Red Devils and Athletic Bilbao.
Many fans were unhappy after United played many of their superstar players in another pre-season match at Old Trafford yesterday, indicating that a much weakened side would be travelling to Dublin.
With the prospect of many young supporters being disappointed, Finn Harps FC are offering a FREE kids season ticket for our remaining home games in 2023 to anyone who had tickets for today’s friendly.
A spokesperson said “With 6 home games remaining, youngsters can come and watch our strongest side as they give their all for their local community each week.
“We are a fan owned club, rooted in our community, and our squad includes the cream of local talent coming through our extensive academy structures, as well as quality players imported from the UK, USA and Europe. Unbeaten in our last five our young team has shown huge character and no small amount of quality, most recently scoring an injury time equaliser against runaway League leaders Galway United.
“If you are travelling to today’s friendly match in Dublin, we hope this offer might cheer up a few little ones – to claim this offer please email your details to tickets@finnharps.ie and our team will issue your digital season tickets.
“Wishing all those travelling to the Aviva from the Northwest a safe trip, and hoping we will see some of you at Finn Park this Friday night for our next home game against Treaty United (KO 8pm).”
