This year’s hugely successful ‘Bundoran 10’ road race has raised more than €15,000 for local causes.

At the weekend, the organisers were delighted to present the proceeds to some of their nominated charities.

Daimon Fergus and Joe McNulty collected a cheque for €6,500 on behalf of RNLI Bundoran Lifeboat Station while John Cannon and Eamon Harvey (below) collected €2,500 on behalf of Tír Chonaill AC.

Meanwhile, a cheque for €6,500 was presented to representatives of the North West Hospice in Sligo.

The Bundoran took place on Friday, March 3, and included a new 5K route this year.
