They led by 1-05 to 0-03 at halftime, Eugene Organ’s goal putting them in a strong position.
The teams exchanged points in the early stages of the second-half to bring the score to 1-10 to 0-06 and then Man of the Match Eugene Organ produced a super fetch and finish to put St. Eunans in total control at 2-10 to 0-06 ahead. Burt did make a game of it with late goals from Donegal Senior Team Manager Mickey McCann and sub Leo Doherty but it was too little to late as Eunans ran out worthy winners of the 2023 Junior Championship.
Organ finished with 2-03, Gavin Forde was also excellent with 0-07 , while the impressive Paul O Donnell got 0-02.
For Burt Mickey McCann showed he still has it with 1-03 , Niall Campbell 0-4 and Leo Doherty 1-00.
