A man in his 70s is in hospital after he was struck by a care in West Donegal last night.
The pedestrian was out walking when he was struck by a car in the Glassagh area of Derrybeg around 9.50pm.
Both Gardai and the emergency services attended the scene.
He was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
It is not believed that his injuries are life-threatening.
A Garda spokesperson said nobody else was injured and the roads has remained open.
