The main Glencolmcille to Ardara road, at Glengesh, will close for the next two days for essential repairs.
Donegal County Council confirmed the R230 at Glengesh (Common Bridge and Glengesh) will be blocked from 8:30 am to 6.00pm tomorrow to Friday 1st September and will be re-opened each evening. The exact location of the road closure will be from the thatch cottage in Glengesh towards the N56 junction (Common Bridge) for approximately 1.5km.
“The Diversion route for people travelling to Carrick/Glencolmcille from Ardara, or in the opposite direction, is via the N56 from Ardara into Killybegs into Carrick via R263,” a council spokesperson said.
