Nomadic – a Donegal success story celebrates 25 years and still growing

Nomadic is one of Donegal’s real success stories in the food industry in recent years.

Based in Killygordon for the past 25 years,  Nomadic makes nourishing convenience food for people who need to get the job done.

This year the company celebrates their 25th anniversary making great tasting products for people not just across Donegal but Ireland and indeed the globe.

A proud member of Love Irish Food, the company is marking its quarter of a century in business with a bold new look and an ambitious growth plan in Ireland and in the UK.

It follows an impressive twelve months for the company, with continued double-digit growth. Nomadic has also maintained its No.1 position in UK convenience.

The new look adds a dynamism and energy to its packaging, with a bolder logo and simplified visual approach. It features a variety of coloured chevrons to not only indicate the flavour, but also to add a sense of momentum – while enhancing its iconic ‘nomad’ striding figure.

Crucially, the redesign reinforces Nomadic’s positioning of ‘Nourishing convenience food for people who need to get the job done’. The company believes this appeals particularly to those on their feet and on the move, going from task to task.

Bethan Miles, Nomadic’s Marketing Manager, said: “Hard work of any kind needs easy, nourishing, food and we’ve already got a range of products that fulfil this – whether it’s for on-the-go satisfaction, or when people have a little more time. This new design now gives us maximum shelf stand-out.”

“The company is supporting the new strategy and look in Ireland with an ATL and sampling campaign,” said Emma Gregory, Sales Manager for Nomadic in Ireland. “It will also be supported by instore promotions, consumer activations and events throughout the year.”

One Handed: For when you’ve got to keep moving. Grab it, fuel up, crack on.

Open & Dive In: For when you’ve got a quick minute. Slow down, dig in, power through.

Take Time To Combine: For when you’ve got a little more time. Take a moment, enjoy, get back to it.

As well as an amazing brand, Nomadic rely on amazing people who are the backbone behind the success of the company.

And like all forward-thinking companies, Nomadic are always on the look-out for talented people to join their team.

The company currently employs more than 100 people at their Killygordon base and with their ambitious growth plans, Nomadic are looking for more people to join the team in a variety of different roles, with great opportunities to develop and grow in the business.
