It’s going to be hot across Donegal again today.

An early morning fog will burn away to bring a top temperature of 25 degrees for most of the afternoon.

And the good news from Met Eireann is that the warm and mostly dry spell will last into the weekend.

So make the most of it and get out into that fresh air but make sure you wear sun screen!

Met Eireann forecast

Sunny today with highest temperatures of 24 to 28 degrees, possibly higher in a few places. Mist and fog may linger on coasts. Isolated thunderstorms may develop inland during the afternoon. Light variable or southerly breezes.

TOMORROW – Saturday 9th September
Mostly sunny again tomorrow, increased chance of isolated thunderstorms. Mist or fog may affect some coastal areas. Highest temperatures of 21 to 26 degrees with light southwest or variable winds.
