They’re still on course to capture the Dr Maguire Cup once again.

But a select group of Naomh Conaill players reached a special milestone at the weekend.

Eoin Wade, Anthony Thompson, Stephen Mc Grath, and Leo Mc Loone all marked their 100 championship appearances for their club.

The lads were all presented with momentoes for the occasion before the quarter-final tie against Kilcar at Eamon Byrne Memorial Park in Killybegs.

A spokesperson for the club said “The lads have given unbelievable service and are fantastic ambassadors for Naomh Conaill on and off the field.

“As a club, we want to thank them for their outstanding loyalty and dedication to Naomh Conaill and for many more years to come.

“A very proud and happy day for the lads and their families and they topped it off with great performances today.”
