Two people have been hospitalised after a crash in Burnfoot earlier today.
The two car collision took place at Carnashanagh, Burnfoot at aorund 12.25pm.
The emergency services rushed to the scene.
Two people were taken to hospital as a result of the crash.
A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision at Carnashanagh, Burnfoot, Co. Donegal this afternoon, Saturday 7th October 2023.
“The collision occurred at approximately 12:25pm and involved two cars.
“A woman aged in her 40s, and a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.”
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
