The annual Northwest Breast Cancer Charity Ball returns on Friday 1st December 2023, building on the success of the previously sold out 2022 event.

The organisers are thrilled to announce that the event will once again take place at the stunning Silver Tassie Hotel, Letterkenny, promising an unforgettable evening filled with exquisite cuisine, live music, and endless entertainment. With Christmas just around the corner, the Ball is the perfect festive night out, and attendees are encouraged to gather their friends and join in on the electric atmosphere.

This year’s event is set to be even more special, with the announcement of two esteemed guests.

Ciara Doherty, a popular television presenter, and Mr Peter Barry, a renowned Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, will be joining as the special guests. The organisers are thrilled to have such distinguished individuals on board, highlighting their commitment to raising breast cancer awareness and supporting those affected by the illness.

Funds raised from this special night are invaluable in improving the treatment at the Northwest Breast Centre.

Mr. Michael Sugrue, Consultant Breast & General Surgeon at Letterkenny University Hospital emphasises that the profits from the ball help advance research into clinical care at a local level. The ball is a brilliant way to connect with family, friends and colleagues, while raising money that will help make life saving research, education and care happen into the future.

The organising committee express their gratitude for the exceptional support they have received from the local community, as well as local and national businesses and organisations in the past.

The upcoming event promises to be as thrilling as ever, with Red Alert providing the music and Noel Cunningham acting as the MC. The ticket price for the event has been held steady at an exceptional value of €50.00 per person, and the festivities will begin with a drinks reception at 7.15 p.m., followed by a delicious three-course meal and dancing.

Tickets will sell quickly so please book yours soon – All Tickets can be purchased at The Silver Tassie Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Telephone No. 074 91 25619.

Once again this year the Silver Tassie is very generously offering their hugely successful Hotel Package – escape your busy life and relax on Friday 1st December – all for the incredible price of €110.00.
