The setting of the Shandon Hotel and Spa at Marblehill has never been in doubt.
Overlooking the stunning coastline of Dunfanaghy, countless couples and families have enjoyed fabulous occasions at the hotel be it a wedding, an anniversary celebration or a special family function.
Hotel manager and director, Carolynne Harrison and her team have spent recent years bringing up the standard of the interior of the hotel to where it is now second-to-none.
The latest chapter of that refurbishment was the McCarthy Suite which has enjoyed countless memorable nights over the years.
The suite, which includes a new bar and new furniture was reopened on Friday night last to great celebrations.
Guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet as well as entertainment which included an Irish dancing routine from Emily and Thomas Colangelo from Dungloe and some great music from the one and only Keltic Kaos.
Manager and Shandon Hotel director, Carolynne Harrison said “The McCarthy suite is the latest in a long list of recent refurbishments at the Shandon.
