The Donegal force was strong in Birmingham today as Tir Chonaill Gaels conquered Dunedin Connollys to take home the Britain LGFA Intermediate Championship trophy.

The final score was 1-9 to TCG Ladies vs 1-6 to Dunedin Connollys.

It was a historic win for the TCG Ladies as it was their first time winning the final in the history of the London-based Gaels.

The squad, managed by Termon man, Nathan McElwaine, put up an impressive performance to dominate the second half.

Seven women from Donegal, including Caitlin Norrby (St Nauls), Rachel McLaughlin (Carndonagh), Amy Quigley (Muff), Denise Doherty (Malin, Captain), Sinead Friel (Fanad), Eimear Alcorn (Termon), and Michelle Doherty (Malin), were part of the squad that clinched the victory.
