Experience the joy of shopping local as Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) hosts the “Celebrating Donegal Business” showcase on from 1pm – 6.30pm on Friday, November 24, at The Central Hotel, Donegal Town.

This event is free to attend and provides a platform for the best local businesses, featuring a diverse range of products and services, from gift ideas, tradesmen, beauty products, and outdoor adventures – this showcase is your go-to for discovering unique and handcrafted goods.

With numerous fantastic gift ideas available for purchase at the event, shoppers will have plenty of options to choose from, ensuring there’s something for everyone on your Christmas list. Whether you’re shopping for a loved one or treating yourself, the showcase offers a variety of practical and thoughtful gifts plus the chance to explore a variety of new businesses in your local area.

Donna Campbell, Learning & Enterprise Manager, DLDC, shares her insights: “The showcase is a unique opportunity to connect with local businesses in Donegal. Donegal has always been an entrepreneurial county; we have traditionally created our own opportunities rather than waiting for employment opportunities to come to us. This event will showcase that creative, entrepreneurial spirit in the truest sense. It’s a fantastic chance for our community to support these local ventures and discover unique, locally crafted gifts for Christmas.”

The “Celebrating Donegal Business” showcase not only highlights the business acumen in the county but also provides insights into the range of services and supports offered by DLDC, including employment assistance and entrepreneurial guidance.

The DLDC Enterprise Team supports individuals considering self-employment, fostering financial improvement and personal progression. Over the years, DLDC has aided numerous individuals in starting their own businesses, contributing to employment opportunities in the county.

Join us on November 24th, from 1pm – 6.30pm at The Central Hotel, Donegal Town and discover diverse gifts, support entrepreneurs, and experience the joy of shopping local on November 24th at The Central Hotel. Admission is free.
