Donegal County Council has awarded a contract for the construction of 42 new social housing units in Bundoran to Glebe Builders.
The Donegal Town based company has revealed it will be hiring a number of construction workers for the project.
“We also encourage local suppliers and subcontractors to get in touch,” said a spokesperson.
The development at Gort na Gréine, Drumacrin, Bundoran will consist of 42 social housing units, associated site development works including foul drain pumping station with rising main, stormwater attenuation system and controlled pedestrian crossing point.
“We are delighted to have been appointed Main Contractor for the Housing Development in Bundoran, Co Donegal,” said Glebe Builders.
“It is a very much needed development for the local people of Bundoran as it is the first social housing construction in the town in more than twenty years.
“We look forward to working in conjunction with Donegal County Council and their design team to get this project successfully completed.”
