Another drug driver arrested in Inishowen as part of Garda crackdown

Another drug driver has been arrested in Inishowen as part of a spate of recent arrests on the roads in the area.

Gardaí say a driver in Carndonagh was pulled over on Thursday evening by Gardaí as they were not wearing their seatbelt.

Subsequently the driver tested positive for the presence of cocaine and was arrested.

A number of similar arrests have been recorded by Gardaí in the county in recent weeks, as efforts are made to curb the sharp increase in road deaths nationwide this year.
