Dungloe Ladies will be kicking themselves after a tremendous performance saw them beaten by just a point by Derry champions Lavey in this Ulster Junior Final.

Dungloe 1-13 Lavey 2-11

Played in difficult conditions at Healy Park in Omagh, Tony Boyle’s side never looked intimidated by the task ahead of them.

Indeed, they led by five points with about 20 minutes to go after the sides went in level at the break.

But Lavey managed to claw their way back thanks in part to a Catriona Toner goal.

But Dungloe will look back on this as a game they should have won as they kicked at least ten wides compared to just two from their opponents.
