Donegal All-Ireland winner Eamon McGee has been added to the backroom staff for Buncrana GAA’s senior men’s team.
The announcement was made last night, with McGee joining Manager Gary Duffy’s coaching team at the club.
The pair have coached together before, with the Donegal Under 20 team in recent years.
In a statement on social media, the club said that “Eamon brings a wealth of experience at the highest level, both as a player with his club Gaoth Dobhair and Donegal where he won a National League title, 3 Ulster Senior Championships and of course the All-Ireland in 2012.”
“Eamon has won numerous Donegal Senior Championships with his Club and played a pivotal role in their Ulster Club Championship success in 2018. Together with Gary he was involved in the Donegal Under 20 management team for the past two years and makes the step into a Club coaching role for the first time outside of his club Gaoth Dobhair.”
