Glenree Sports Club are embarking on a journey down memory lane, and they want you to be a part of it!
With the Sports Club celebrating their 50 th Anniversary they want to record the history of the club over those 50 years. It’s a bottom-up approach where the participants, be it the athletes, footballers, officials, supporters, spectators, record their memories. It may be in the form of writing, recording on phone, or interview by Loreto Community School, Milford, TY students.Glenree Sports Club
The policy of Glenree Sports Club at its formation was to support as many sports as possible. Sheephaven RFC played their home matches in Glenree for a considerable period of time. Many Interprovincial players and indeed Internationals played there. If you played there the Sports Club want to hear from you. Who played with you, who
did you play against, did you score a try, kick a penalty, conversion or maybe a winning drop goal with the last kick of the game.
An open invitation is extended to all the above-mentioned groups, to meet in the Gteic, Carraigáirt, on Wednesday, December 6 th at 7.30pm.
You can contact the club by email at:glenreesportsclub@gmail.com, join the Glenree Sports Club WhatApps group and follow us on Facebook.
