Last Saturday saw all Rosses AC juveniles come together for the annual ‘party of the year’ night and awards in the Waterfront, Dungloe.
There was a huge turnout with over 150 athletes from all ages who danced and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. It has been one of the most successful years at juvenile level which was evident when all those who won medals at All Ireland level were called to the stage. This was backed by the Irish Vest that was on show in the background, achieved this year by Eva Logue. Everyone went home happy with many awards on the night for the great talents that were on the dance floor matching, if not bettering, what happens at the track! Well done to the organisers of the night also also to the Waterfront for a lovely evening.
On Friday evening last, the Ulster Athletics Star Award Ceremony took place last night at the Villa Rose Hotel, Ballybofey. Based on his excellent performances throughout the year, the club was delighted to have Oisin Gillespie (below) recognised with an award in the juveniles section. It has been a really progressive and successful year for the talented athlete who has put in the hard work and got the deserved results. Well done from all at the club.
