A young woman has died following a single-vehicle road crash in Derry.
Lydia Ross, 21, sustained serious injuries in the collision involving a blue Peugeot 207 in the Curragh Road area of Aghadowey, Co Derry, shortly after 10.15pm last night.
Police said she was taken to hospital for treatment, but “but sadly passed away from her injuries”.
They added that enquiries are ongoing and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
