A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help repatriate the remains of David Watters back to Ballyshannon, after he died in England recently.

David had been attending the funeral of a friend in England, when he suddenly fell ill.

According to the fundraising page, set up by Edel Burke, David then suffered a cardiac arrest while he was in hospital, and was placed in an induced coma for three days before eventually passing away.

The funds raised will go to repatriating David’s remains, funeral costs, and also will go towards paying off the mortgage on the family’s home.

You can donate to the fundraiser here.
