Lough Swilly RNLI has announced the passing out of local volunteer, Barry Johnston.

Johnston has now passed his training to helm their inshore lifeboat, the Atlantic 85.

The RNLI assessor, Mark Mitchell, expressed his delight and congratulated Barry on his achievement. Mark also conveyed his gratitude to Barry for his hard work and exceptional level of proficiency.

The RNLI is a charitable organisation that provides lifeboat services to save lives at sea. Volunteers like Barry play a crucial role in the RNLI’s operations and help to keep our coasts safe.
