Muireann’s star rising even further after she sells out Whelans in just hours

Some of Ireland’s more established singers dream of playing to a packed house in Dublin venue Whelans.

But Donegal’s newest star Muireann Bradley has done that in a matter of hours.

Tickets for the Ballybofey star’s show at the venue went on sale on Wednesday afternoon.

And they were all snapped up by the time the six o’clock news headlines were read out on RTE.

Muireann, as cool as ever, took it all in his stride.

Taking to her Facebook page she simply said “This one sold out fast!”

The gig takes place on Saturday 13th April.

Muireann’s amazing talent was known locally in Donegal for many months now.

But she exploded onto the world stage after she appeared on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny show on the BBC on New year’s Eve.
