The Lough Swilly RNLI has gratefully received a donation in memory of much-loved Buncrana woman, Sinead McLaughlin.

Sinead, a keen sea swimmer, sadly passed in September 2023, after taking ill on Ludden beach.

Originally from Park, Co. Derry, Sinead is survived by her husband Martin and daughter Amy.

In her memory and in gratitude for the help of the emergency services at the time, Martin and members of their family recently donated €2,100 to the Lough Swilly RNLI crew.

The crew were delighted to accept the donation.
