National: Man, 30, seriously injured after car crashes into wall

A man has been seriously injured after his car crashed into a wall overnight.

The 30-year-old driver struck a wall around 7pm on the R741 at Castlebridge Village in Co Wexford.

The victim, the only person in the car, was rushed to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital.

Gardai have preserved the scene awaiting an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone with dash cam footage or who witnessed the collision to come forward.
