Emergency services are currently at the scene of a house fire in Ballybofey.

Extensive damage has been caused to the vacant property on Trusk Road.

It is believed the blaze broke out shortly after 9pm at the property which is the former home of well-known music teacher, the late May Mulrine, and her husband Francis.

Emergency services remain at the scene and the area is cordoned off.
