A man in his sixties has died, days after he was struck by a car.
The man was struck by a car while riding his bike in Youghal, County Cork on Thursday evening just after 6pm.
He later died of his injuries in University Hospital Cork.
He has now become the 19th person to die on Ireland’s roads since the start of 2024.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident.
