It will be a wet start in some parts of Ulster, however, the rain will gradually clear southwards through the morning leaving a mostly dry day with hazy sunshine.

Clear, but locally icy conditions into the evening. Cool with highest afternoon temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in a light to moderate northwest wind.

Most areas will be dry and clear, but some wintry showers are possible near northern coasts. It will be cold with frost and ice as temperatures fall to between -1 and +2 degrees, in a light west to northwest wind.

Wednesday morning will be cold with frost and icy stretches. It will be mostly dry apart from the chance of isolated showers in the morning. Otherwise there’ll be hazy sunny spells at first, but cloud will spread from the south later in the day. Highest temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees in a light and variable wind.
