Former Finn Harps star Mark Coyle was on the scoresheet last night as Shelbourne impressed to beat champions Shamrock Rovers in the LOI Premiership.

The 27-year-old Burt man was recently appointed as the club’s captain by manager Damian Duff.

He started to repay Duff’s faith in him last night as he scored his side’s first goal in their 2-1 win over Stephen Bradley’s side at Tolka Park.
