A free Sláintecare Healthy Communities Self-Care event was held at the Redcastle Hotel on Saturday, February 24th to promote self-care and wellness in the community.
Over the course of the morning, attendees enjoyed complimentary taster sessions of various treatments, including Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Kinesiology, and back, hand, and neck massages. Additionally, workshops on gentle movement and breathing exercises offered practical tools for attendees to re-energize their bodies.
The event also featured free health checks from qualified practitioners, allowing participants to receive valuable insights into their well-being. To conclude the successful day, a delicious and nutritious lunch was provided free of charge to all attendees.
