There is no limit to what women can accomplish – that’s the message from a powerful video featuring inspiring women from the Finn Valley community.

Finn Valley College is celebrating some great women who shape our community this International Women’s Day, 8th March.

The staff wellbeing team has put together a special video featuring messages from past students and current staff, sharing life lessons and words of wisdom.

Watch here:

The video showcases accomplished women in diverse careers, proving that anything is possible. Speakers include handball star Avril McNamee, Chief Executive of Donegal ETB Anne McHugh, Donegal GAA PRO Sinead Breen, FVC Deputy Principal Kathleen Boland and wind turbine technician Aisling Grieve.

The school wishes to thank Ms Floyd for her vision and work in capturing the stories of these amazing women from the Finn Valley College and Donegal ETB Community.

International Women’s Day celebrations continue throughout the day at FVC! Ms Quigley has created a slideshow showcasing inspiring stories of women’s achievements in politics, economics, and social justice, which will be shared during lessons.
