Everton continue to honour one of the club’s most loyal servants, Seamus Coleman.
The Toffees have put their jersey on the Killybegs man by releasing a Seamus Coleman-inspired shamrock jersey to celebrate his unwavering commitment to the club.
The warm-up shirt – emblazoned with club captain Coleman’s number 23 and a shamrock pattern – signifies his 15-year service, as well as his recent rise to record Premier League appearance maker at the Toffees.
Coleman famously cost Everton just £60,000 from Sligo Rovers in 2009 and has played hundreds of times in a 15 year period for the club.
Speaking on the release of the Coleman jersey, Allan Vad Nielsen, hummel CEO, said: “We’re honoured to celebrate a player of Seamus Coleman’s stature with this design, which features a unique shamrock pattern, the Club’s modern Tower crest and Seamus’s iconic number 23.
“With the integration of Ireland’s signature green as the primary colour, complemented by the club’s classic blue, our intention is to pay tribute to one of the most popular players in the club’s history.
“We hope fans will wear this warm-up jersey with pride, uniting with us in celebrating Seamus’ incredible journey at Goodison.”
