Job Vacancy: John O’Donnell Construction Ltd. are a construction company based in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal.
Due to continued growth, we now have an opportunity for an Experienced Site Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out & compilation of As-Built drawings.
- Checking plans, drawings & quantities for accuracy of
calculations. - Managing, monitoring & interpreting the contract documents.
- Liaising with the project manager and design team.
- Supervision & monitoring of ground works and civil engineering contractors.
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties & other problems that may arise.
- Management & co-ordination of health and safety matters on site
- Quality management and BCAR co-ordination
Minimum Requirements:
- Engineering Degree
- 3+ yrs experience as a site engineer with main contractor
- Strong setting out experience – AutoCAD, Total Station, GPS
- Knowledge of latest building regulations & certification standards
- Accuracy, attention to detail & methodical nature
- Full clean driving licence.
