Jobs: Construction Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor opportunities

Irwin Consulting Ltd is a Professional Quantity Surveying Practice and Retrofit Grant provider who are based in Buncrana.

We require a Construction Project Manager (Full-Time) and a Quantity Surveyor (Full-Time).

Construction Project Manager (Full-Time)

Essential criteria:

  • Have 10+ years’ experience managing commercial and residential projects.
  • Experience in managing programmes, budgets, design teams, main contractors and subcontractors.
  • Be eager, enthusiastic and highly motivated with a passion for engaging with our clients in a professional manner.
  • Have excellent knowledge and understanding of construction practices, building regulations, planning laws, statutory regulations and familiarity with Building Contracts.
  • Have knowledge of and be experienced in sustainable building technologies.
  • Have a good eye for detail and be capable of managing quality.
  • Be proficient in IT, Microsoft Office and Project.
  • Be available to start as soon as possible.
  • Willing to travel for work within Ireland as needed.

Quantity Surveyor (Full-Time)

Essential criteria:

  • Have 10+ years’ experience managing commercial and residential projects.
  • Be competent in producing Bill of Quantities, take-offs, interim valuations, value engineering, managing variations, credits and final accounts.
  • Have excellent knowledge of construction and building techniques.
  • Proficient in Excel, Billsoft and preferably Cubit.
  • Be professional, eager, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
  • Have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working as part of team and have a positive approach.
  • Be available to start as soon as possible.
