New opinion polls show that support has dipped for Sinn Fein.
The most recent Business Post/Red C poll now sees the party’s support drop 3 points from last month, down to 25%.
Fine Gael also saw a slight dip, down 1 point to 19% – but the poll was taken prior to Leo Varadkar’s resignation.
Fianna Fail meanwhile remain at 16%, and coalition partners the Green Party saw a slight bump to 4% support.
The biggest gains were for Independents, who are now polling at 17%, a gain of 3%.
Aontú also saw their best poll result yet, as they now stand at 5% with a 2% boost in these polls.
As for the other parties, the Social Democrats remained on 6%, and Labour and Solidarity/People Before Profit are both unchanged at 3%.
