A white Peugeot Partner van with a partial registration number of ‘NX62’ was stolen in Letterkenny and later found burned out.
The van was taken from Rosemount Terrace in Letterkenny between April 1st and 2nd.
The van was parked at that location by the owner on Monday April 1st at 12.30pm but when he returned to collect it the following day he realised that it had been stolen.
The stolen van was located at Kirkstown, Letterkenny at approximately 10.30am on Tuesday the 2nd of April. It had been completely destroyed by fire.
A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who may have observed this van being driven in or around Letterkenny or at any location between April 1st and 2nd to make contact with Gardaí on 074-9167100.
“If anybody can assist with relevant information they may contact Letterkenny Gardaí on that number or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
