Rossnowlagh student wins prestigious Irish language award!

A student from Rossnowlagh has won a prestigious academic award for her proficiency in Irish.

Émer Mc Devitt was given the honour during a ceremony at the University of Galway recently.

The Colaiste Cholmcille, Ballyshannon student received an outstanding result in her T2 Irish exam as part of the Junior Certificate.

She was accompanied by her parents and Irish teacher to be awarded the recognition, which is given to the students with the most outstanding Junior Certificate results in Irish nationwide.
