The very best community volunteers are being celebrated at the Cloughaneely Community Awards next Friday.
Organisers say that the invited nominees from each group represent all who have contributed to Cloughaneely life in a voluntary capacity, past and present, with 55 local community groups and sports clubs attending on the night.
The awards will also be an opportunity for members of these groups to network and meet other locals who are doing their bit for the area.
“All of these clubs and organisations are important in our lives, bringing social and health benefits to people of all ages,” the organisers said in a statement.
“Together we create a vibrant community with a diverse and varied range of social activities, making Cloughaneely a welcoming place to live and visit.”

The Cloughaneely Community Awards Celebration evening takes place in Óstán Loch Altan , Gort an Choirce, on Friday 19th April at 7pm.
